Buying a painting is pretty simple, and at all times you will be dealing with the artist, Tamor Kriwaczek, personally.
When you have found a painting you want to buy, click the "buy now" button, and a pop-up form will appear giving you the
opportunity to enter your name and email address, and a message. The message defaults to a simple request to buy the
painting at the stated price, but you can modify the message as you wish, eg. in order to ask a question. This form will
send an email to Tamor Kriwaczek, which he will reply to as soon as he is able. From this point on you will be in contact
on a personal basis with the artist in order to conclude your purchase.
Paying for a painting
There are four ways in which you can pay* :
-
PayPal
When paying through PayPal, you simply send the money through your PayPal account to Tamor Kriwaczek's
email address, which he will provide you with.
-
Bank transfer
Paying by direct bank transfer is the easiest solution for some people. Tamor Kriwaczek will
provide the necessary details you need to pay this way.
-
Cheque
Payments made by cheque are also acceptable but must be cleared before delivery is made.
-
Cash
Cash can be paid but must be paid to Tamor Kriwaczek before delivery is made. Cash on delivery is not possible,
but if collecting the painting from the artist (see below) cash will be accepted.
* It is important to note that all payments must be completed before delivery can be made.
If you are in any doubt as to how to pay, simply send Tamor Kriwaczek a message through the "contact me directly" link,
which is at the bottom of every page of this website, or click here.
Delivery
There are three options for getting your painting:
-
By Post - small paintings only
Paintings under 20 inches on their longest side can be sent by registered post, appropriately insured.
The cost for this service is dependent on the particular painting(s), and will be set by Tamor Kriwaczek with
a minimum payment of £30.
The exact price will be communicated to the buyer and payment must be made before sending.
Paintings being returned in the same way must be returned in their original packaging by the same postal
service and at the buyers expense.
-
Delivery by the artist
Paintings can be delivered personally by Tamor Kriwaczek free of charge (excepting returns - see below for details),
within the M25 area, and to some extent outside the M25 at Tamor Kriwaczek's discretion.
If you are in any doubt as to whether or not you are eligible
for this service simply send Tamor Kriwaczek a message through the "contact me directly" link,
which is at the bottom of every page of this website, or click here.
-
Collection from the artist
Collection can be taken from the artist personally in North London at no charge. This arrangement
can be made with Tamor Kriwaczek while making your purchase.
Returning a painting
If, for any reason, you are not happy with your painting,
assuming no damage has been caused to the painting while in transit or while in your posession,
you can return the painting for a
full refund excluding delivery costs and framing costs, according to the details set out below.
-
Returning paintings delivered by post
Paintings sent by post must be returned in the same packaging, and by the same method, unless
alternative arrangements are made with the artist. The postage costs must be paid by the buyer at
the time it is sent. A full refund for the painting will be made on receipt of the painting by Tamor kriwaczek,
as long as the painting is not damaged in any way. No refund will be made for the delivery costs.
As an example, if a painting is bought for £300, and delivery costs £40,
the buyer will pay a total of £340. When the
painting is returned, the buyer must pay for delivery when they send it, and on receipt of the painting, Tamor Kriwaczek
will refund you £340 minus £40
delivery charges = £300.
-
Returning paintings delivered by the artist
Paintings delivered by the artist free of charge will incur a charge of £20
each way when returned.
As an example, if a painting is bought for £300 and delivered by the artist,
the buyer will pay a total of £300. When the
painting is returned, the buyer must pay the costs of delivering and returning the painting at a cost of
£20 each way, a total of £40.
On receipt of the painting, Tamor Kriwaczek will refund you £300 minus
£40 delivery charges = £260.
-
Returning paintings collected from the artist
Paintings collected from the artist can be returned by the buyer to Tamor Kriwaczek by arrangement
at no extra cost.
-
Returning paintings that have been framed on request
Paintings that have been framed by the artist on request of the buyer will incur
a cost of half that of the total cost of framing. The calculations regarding delivery charges
as already laid out above will also apply.
As an example, if a painting is bought for £300 and is framed on request at a cost
of £50 and delivered by the artist free of charge, the buyer will pay a total
of £350.
When the painting is returned, collected by the artist, Tamor Kriwaczek will refund you
£300 minus £40 delivery charges
plus £25 framing costs =
£285.
In special circumstances alternative arrangements for returning a painting may be made by arrangement with
the artist, Tamor Kriwaczek.
Framing
Example of a painting framed by Tamor Kriwaczek.
Paintings that are already framed have their frames included free of charge.
Tamor Kriwaczek does not normally provide a framing service, however, a painting may be framed on request of the buyer
and at the artist's discretion, if the painting is not already framed. Frames made in this way will be built only in accordance to the artist's
specifications, as if framing for exhibition, with the style and colour of frame solely the decision of the artist.
Frames made in this way will incur a £50 charge, payable at the time of purchase, and
can take up to 2 weeks to make.
If a painting is returned, the buyer will be liable for half the framing costs (£25)
which will be deducted from the amount refunded to the buyer as set out in the Returning a painting
section of this page.
