Horizons is an ongoing series of paintings concentrating on the neverending
horizontal sweep of the horizon. What draws me towards the horizon, and maybe you, is the infinite:
the horizon can never be reached, can never be visited. It is the boundary between what you can see, and what you can't -
the external vastness of space, reaching far beyond our terrestrial world.
My love of landscape is plain to see in the paintings I have done over the past few years. Landscapes
allow an escape into a dreamworld where you can let your experience of the environment
shape your inner perceptions of the world. It allows an interpretation of what you see through abstracted
colours and contours, creating a world in a painting that reflects your own inner world through that of the outer.
